The Santa Clause House in North Pole AK

One of the big tourist attractions here is the Santa Clause House in North Pole. It is about 15 miles from downtown Fairbanks. So we took the kids to see Santa in the middle of June. North Pole is a fun place that is decorated up for Christmas time all year round. Their light poles are decorated and painted like candy canes etc. At Santa's house they have a big building that is a big gift shop, Santa is there nearly everyday except for around Thanksgiving to Christmas to get ready for the busy Christmas deliveries. He even has a few of his reindeer just outside the building. There are about 4-5 out for tourists to see. There is lots to photo there and so many fun things to see inside. The kids loved walking around and really enjoyed talking to Santa. We even got a picture or two with him. We went during a down time and so it wasn't a rush to get in and out so it was nice to take a few minutes to chat with him. Outside we saw the reindeer eating and walking around. The kids even got to sit inside the sleigh out front.
