Well once again it is that time of year, time to get Hunter's heart checked and time to wear the heart monitor -halter. Hunter was diagnosed with PVC's ( Pulmonary Ventricular Cortexes ) In other words Premature Ventricular Contractions, Where the natural pacemaker will start working when it isn't really needed. The electrical pulses go off too early. It usually isn't a big deal, but it is not common in young children. When he was having his ear infections the doctor found this problem too. So for the last three years we have had to have a visit to the Pediatric Cardiologist. Every time Hunter gets to wear the heart monitor. He hates getting it on! Once it is actaully on he is fine. He calles it his "BOOBOO" and then when his 24 hrs is up he throws a fit when we try and take it off. The first year he was tested it showed several PVC's even visually on the EKG. Last year it showed less but it would still show as he was sleeping or at rest. This year they called us back and they told us it is showing even less. It looks like he is growing out of it and now doesn't have to go back for two years. We are so excited! Here are a few photos of his "BOOBOO."

Poor guy. Glad he is growing out of it, that will be nice not to have to worry about it.
Well, the little chap looks cheerful enough anyway.

How typical for most kids to throw a fit during the hardest part then they act like angels afterwards. He looks great strutting his stuff. I hope this condition lessens and he stays healthy.
