HUNTER VISITS THE ER

Hunter decided to give me a scare tonight. We had a fun busy day and tonight about 5 mins after I sent the kids in and downstairs to go get ready for bed Hunter came running upstairs hunched over crying saying his chest hurt and he thought he had a fever. I was upstairs talking with my mom at the time so I got him calmed down and he was flushed and sweaty and his heart was racing and pounding hard. It was like it was going to come right out of his chest. Mom and I both talked to him and got him calmed down and I just held him for a few minutes. I got my dad and he too felt him and then Hunter asked for a blessing. Dad gave him a blessing and then I made a call to my friends mom and checked to see if she thought I needed to take him into be checked out at the hospital. She said yes and so about an hour after the episode started we got to the hospital to have him looked at. He still had the palpations but he was doing much better. They got him on the EKG machine and monitored him for awhile and then even took xrays. He was still a bit worried and uncomfortable when we first got there but as you can see by the time it was time for the xrays he was feeling more like himself again. We did end up coming home with a heart monitor for a few days which was not his idea of fun, but he has handled it well. Looks like it will be time to see the Cardiologist again. I am just glad he is already doing better.
