I went into Kierra's room on Thursday after her nap to get her so we could go pick up her brother's from school. I was so surprised at what I saw when I opened the door. There Kierra was standing up in her crib! I was shocked. She doesn't even crawl yet, although she is very close and here she was standing up. She was faced towards the wall and didn't see me so I was able to quickly go grab the camera and also call Kenn to let him know the news. After a few moments she started crying, I think she wasn't sure if she should let go or how to get back down. She didn't seem amused when she realized mom was there taking pictures and I wasn't hurrying to help her out. Kenn was eager to put the matress down another level as soon as he got home, which actually turned out to be a great idea since she has ended up standing a few more times.

that is awesome! It's funny that she was with her back to you. She went up that way and couldn't figure out where she was!! Soon she'll be climbing out :)
